May 8th 2015 This morning we travel to York for a short break for coffee etc., Then on to Beningborough Hall which is a national trust property. Beningborough halls impressive rooms are the perfect backdrop for the rich collection of paintings on loan from the national gallery.There are lovely gardens surrounding the mansion including a walled garden herbaceous borders. There is a restaurant which offers light meals lunches and homemade cakes. Continue reading



The following 4  courses in Nordic Walking Technique, are now available this Spring, for those who wish to join the Nordic Walking Group and have not already received the training.  Each 4 hour course is split over 2 days, therefore you must attend both to complete the course.

Foodie Group visit Hugh Baird

Thursday 26th March

The foodie group met today for a talk, tour and Three Course Lunch at the L20 Restaurant. Robert Graham, the general manager, met us and showed us around the kitchens, floristry area and the hairdressing salon, where we were given a gift voucher to spend at a future date. Robert was passionate about the college’s role in developing the student’s skills, confidence and readiness for the work place. Continue reading
