End of Term for the Welsh Class
Read all about it: Diwedd-Tymor-2015
We’ve taken a more literary turn in the Welsh class lately and are having a look at some of the nation’s poets. Starting with the poetry of I D Hooson and T H Parry-Williams we will be looking in the future at the Welsh War Poets. If you fancy a change come and join us, we’re friendly and eager to meet fellow enthusiasts. ‘Mae croeso cynes i’w gael yn y dosbarth.’
Never has ‘it’ll be alright on the night’ been more true! The pathway to our performance was littered with catastrophes – one after the other. Noson Dydd Gwyl Dewi
Mae’r gr?p Cymru bob amser yn chwilio am reswm i gynnal parti ac yn ddiweddar roedd gennym ddau reswm gwych. Yr adeg yma bob blwyddyn rydym yn dod at ei gilydd i ddathlu Dydd G?yl Dewi ond eleni mi wnaethom benderfynu dathlu’r ffaith bod Cymru wedi ennill Cwpan y Chwe Gwlad am yr ail flwyddyn yn olynol! Rhoddodd hynny’n thema rygbi i’r noson fel y gwelwch o’n lluniau.
Our new beginners are coming on board and we’ve room for a couple more if you have a fancy to learn this amazing language. Join us for a taster any Thursday you like or give me a call for further information. We’ll be celebrating St David’s Day soon and the Welsh class would like to say ….. ‘Pob hwyl ar Dydd Gwyl Dewi’ Jane 526 2530

Into its third year the Welsh group welcomes new members interested in learning this fascinating language. Join us for a bit of drama, some music, poetry and the odd bit of grammar! We do have fun we promise. Dewch draw i weld be sy’n mynd ymlaen.

In the end everyone had a brilliant time. No embarrassing moments, no being tongue tied and no worrying about saying it in Welsh as saying it in English did just as well. Continue reading
